Under the leadership of Ankara Chamber of Industry Chairman of the Board of Directors Seyit Ardıç, with the coordination of 40 professional committee chairs within the Chamber, work has begun to establish a "Container Living Center" in an area to be determined in the earthquake zone.
As it became more difficult to spend the night outside due to the adverse weather conditions in the earthquake area, ASO launched a campaign to establish a fully equipped living center for earthquake victims.

The containers to be produced by a company located in the ASO 2nd Organized Industrial Zone will be loaded into the vehicles in the truck park in the same region and delivered to the earthquake zone.

Will Answer Basic Needs

There will be 21 rooms, 2 beds, kitchen sink and utensils, shower, closet, sink, bathroom and heater in each 4 square meter container.
There will be social components such as a cafeteria, playground for children, education and care center, and services such as electricity, water and internet network will be provided in the 300-container living center.

The materials in the containers, whose production has been completed and started to be brought to the field in ASO 2nd OSB, are supplied by the companies of ASO member business people who produce in that area.

“We will establish the center after the infrastructure works are completed”

ASO President Seyit Ardıç, in his evaluation on the subject, said that they focused on what they can do as ASO by contacting the relevant ministers and TOBB right after the first earthquake took place.

Ardıç stated that they have turned to more permanent solutions such as establishing a container living center as they foresee that aid such as food and clothing will be provided to the region after the earthquake, and said, “The containers in the living center we will establish will contain everything from kettle to water heater, toilet, shower, bed linen. There are 300 container donations so far. We will establish a container city in the area indicated by Hatay Municipality. In the first place, we will prepare the infrastructure of the living center, and after the infrastructure works are completed, we will establish the center.”

Juniper wished God's mercy on those who lost their lives in the earthquake, and wished the injured to get well soon.
