Antalya Metropolitan Municipality started the 'Caravan Park' Project in Konyaaltı, where local and foreign caravan vacationers visiting the city can stay in a safer and more comfortable area. The Caravan Park, built in the area behind Minicity, will have a capacity of 50 caravans.
As a result of the intense interest of holidaymakers traveling to the world-famous Konyaaltı Beach by caravan in recent years, there was a shortage of parking in many streets and streets close to the beach. Taking action on this, Antalya Metropolitan Municipality started the Caravan Park project in Konyaaltı District Arapsuyu Neighborhood with a capacity of 50 caravans, which will include electricity, infrastructure and social reinforcement areas.
400 meters from the beach
As a result of the increasing density of caravan vehicles on and around Konyaaltı Beach, the uncontrolled parking problem on the streets and avenues and its negative impact on the traffic flow, it was decided to create a new caravan parking area in the June Assembly of the Metropolitan Municipality. Construction activities started on an area of 6 thousand 500 square meters in Arapsuyu District with the work initiated by the Investments Branch Directorate of the Metropolitan Municipality Science Affairs Department. The area, which is 400 meters from the Konyaaltı beach, is also close to public transportation and shopping centers.
Kitchen, Buffet, Laundry
The parking area, which has a capacity of 50 caravans, will also have electrical and plumbing infrastructure to meet all the needs of caravans. There will be a buffet, laundry, kitchen, bathroom and toilets in the Caravan Park, where families can stay in safety and comfort.
