Master trainers working for an additional course fee within the Ministry of National Education and teachers who take classes for a fee will be deemed to have completed their duties and will be able to benefit from the additional course fee during the days when education was interrupted due to the earthquakes that occurred on 6 February.
The Presidential Decision, titled “The Decision on the Amendment of the Decision Regarding the Lessons and Additional Lesson Hours of the Ministry of National Education Administrators and Teachers”, entered into force after being published in the Official Gazette.
Continuing his investigations in Malatya, Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer stated that in the evaluations he made with the teachers in the region, he stated that they would resolve the issue as soon as possible and said, “Our master trainers and teachers working for tuition fees within our ministry cannot attend classes at the moment due to the great earthquake we experienced. According to the legal regulation, they would not be able to get paid in this case. The necessary arrangement was made by the decision of our President, so that our educators and teachers would not experience any problems.
