Izmir Metropolitan Municipality delivers hot meals, supplies and various necessities with 7 vehicles every day to the central and mountain villages of Adıyaman, where bread production stopped due to the earthquake disaster. Izmir Metropolitan Municipality did not leave the villages of Adıyaman alone, where the 6 February earthquake caused heavy destruction. 7-course meal service to the villages with 3 vehicles

Established in the coordination unit in Adıyaman Yenimahalle, the city, where almost no business is open, including a soup kitchen, restaurant, market and bakery, offers hot meals at noon and in the evening to 3 earthquake victims every day. While the prepared meals are distributed to the earthquake victims in the tent cities, 500 soup kitchens serve to deliver 7 kinds of food to the villages every day.

Hope Movement's help in the mountain villages of Adıyaman

In addition to the hot food, 2 food and hygiene packages, blankets, sleeping bags, mobile generators, heaters, winter clothes, tents and beds were sent to the villages of Adıyaman within the scope of donations made by the Hope Movement from all over Turkey and the aid provided by volunteers in İzmir. sent. One truck of drinking water support was provided to places with drinking water problems.

“We are in an era where money does not pass”

İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Egeşehir Building Planning Inc. Ekrem Tükenmez said, “We have reached all the central villages of Adıyaman. But the needs are increasing. We will continue to increase our aid. While we are reaching the villages in the center of Adıyaman, we are working to ensure that our aid goes to the inaccessible villages in the other surrounding districts.”

Earthquake survivor health and veterinary support

Ekrem Tükenmez, who stated that they continue to support animal husbandry in rural areas as well as food and food support, said, “We are in cooperation with Adıyaman Medical Chamber on the health of our earthquake victims. We deliver the data we receive from the villages to them. We are also trying to make a due diligence with our veterinarians in our villages. We are walking around our villages one by one. We are trying to provide support for feed and animal health according to their needs.”

Earthquake survivor Mehmet Çoktaşer from Adıyaman Ahmethoca Village said, “A very severe earthquake occurred at 4 am. There are 40 deaths in our village of 20 houses.
