China Automotive Technology Research Center has announced annual data on invention patents in the automotive industry.
Accordingly, the number of patents announced to the public in the Chinese automotive sector in 2022 increased by 12,94 percent and reached 362 thousand 200. In the same period, the number of invention patents approved increased by 12,77 percent and reached 94 thousand 500. Experts argue that the data is a result of the continuous improvement of the innovation quality of the automotive industry in China.
On the other hand, according to figures announced last month, Chinese companies obtained 2022 million 4 thousand valid invention patents in 212. The number of companies obtaining patents valid until the end of 2022 in the country has increased to 355.
