A total of 30 kilograms of drugs were seized, hidden under the trailer, in a truck that came to the Kapıkule Customs Gate to enter Turkey by the Customs Enforcement teams of the Ministry of Commerce.
According to the statement made by the Ministry, the Customs Enforcement teams do not let the poison dealers in with their drug operations at the Kapıkule Customs Gate. As part of the risk analysis and targeting studies carried out by the teams, a truck was closely monitored while the suspicious vehicles were inspected.
The vehicle, which set off from Germany and came to the customs area to enter Turkey via Bulgaria, passed through the control stages.
During the control, it was determined that there were suspicious objects under the trailer in the images. Thereupon, the vehicle, which was taken to the search hangar, was subjected to a search in the company of narcotic detector dogs, and it was observed that the detector dogs reacted to the same area.
As a result of the detailed control, it was revealed that there were drugs in packages in the bags found in the suspect area. In the analysis, a total of 25,5 kilograms of drugs were seized, including 4,5 kilograms of ecstasy and 30 kilograms of cannabis. The seized drugs were confiscated by the teams.
