China to Launch Mengtian Lab Module in the Future

China plans to launch the Mengtian laboratory module, the final piece of the country's space station, into space in October.

In order for the construction of the space station to be completed on the anticipated date, testing and preparation studies for various systems related to the launch mission are carried out.

Liao Guorui, the official responsible for the Mengtian laboratory module launch mission, noted that the Long March-5B Y4 carrier rocket has passed the necessary tests.

On the other hand, it is stated that the Shenzhou-14 crew has been in orbit for more than four months and is preparing for the arrival of the Mengtian laboratory module. All three taikonauts were reported to be in good health.

In addition, preparations are underway for the Shenzhou-15 manned space mission.

Crew training continues as the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China prepares for the launch of the spacecraft.
