He completed his master's degree in Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, Institute of Science, Biology USA, with his thesis titled 'Macrofungi of Armutlu (Yalova) Region with Economic Value'.

He worked as a lecturer at Düzce University Traditional and Complementary Medicine Research and Application Center and Düzce University Environmental Health Technologies Specialization Coordinator.

He has academic studies and publications on natural mushrooms, mushroom cultivation, medicinal mushrooms, mycotherapy. In recent years, his academic studies have focused on biotechnology.
