Gondola tours in the Porsuk Stream, which attracted great attention of Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality, became the favorite of local and foreign tourists. Welcoming approximately 47 thousand guests between May and August, the gondolas set a record by making tens of thousands of tours in Porsuk.

In Eskişehir, which reminds the famous Venice city of Italy with its gondolas in the middle of the steppe, the interest in gondola tours is increasing day by day.

Known as the Venice of Central Anatolia with its boats and gondolas cruising on the Porsuk Stream, which divides Eskişehir for 12 kilometers, Eskişehir continues to be flocked by local and foreign tourists, becoming a favorite of “city tourism” during the tourism season.

While the visitors' interest in the touristic facilities of Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality was dazzling, the gondola tours organized in Porsuk Stream became indispensable for tourists.

Due to the increasing interest in the gondolas, which can accommodate up to four people and serve 7 days a week, the number and the number of voyages have also been increased. In the tours, where 7 gondolas served with 9 personnel before, 10 gondolas and 13 gondola drivers now take charge.

Between January and August 2022, 55 thousand guests enjoyed the gondola on the Porsuk Stream, where tours continue during the winter period. The guests, who make tours with the gondolas that serve between 10.00-19.00 on weekdays and 10.00-20.00 on weekends, immortalize the beauties of Eskişehir with their phones and cameras.

The guests who participated in the tour stated that they were amazed by Eskişehir and said, “It would not be possible not to come to Eskişehir and not join the gondola tour in Porsuk. It was an incredibly beautiful and unforgettable memory for us. The fact that Metropolitan Mayor Yılmaz Büyükerşen has transformed Eskişehir into a European city in the middle of Anatolia is a great success. We came with pleasure, we toured with pleasure and we will return in a pleasant way. Eskişehir is very beautiful, we recommend it to everyone who wants to come.”

Drawing attention to the city tourism target of Eskişehir, Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Büyükerşen said, “We are very happy to see domestic and foreign tourists, especially from all over Turkey, in our city. The people of Eskişehir know very well how the Porsuk Stream changed from its former state to its present form. Porsuk Stream now hosts tens of thousands of guests. Eskişehir, which has experienced a great change with our projects, is now shown as a well-known, preferred and must-see place both in Turkey and abroad with our touristic centers. The interest in gondola and boat expeditions on the Porsuk Stream is also increasing. In fact, it should be said: Eskişehir invites everyone with its beauties. I repeat my previous call and invite everyone to see Eskişehir. We are waiting for you in Eskişehir with our parks, museums, boats and gondolas.”
