Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, Chairman of the Republican People's Party, made a statement on his Twitter account tonight and expressed his satisfaction that METU graduates will be celebrating at Devrim Stadium tomorrow.
The message of CHP leader Kılıçdaroğlu is as follows:
“Tomorrow, students will celebrate their graduation at the Revolution Stadium in METU, this is good. The Rectorate has imposed a 'first degree family relative' restriction on the entrance to the campus. Mr. Kemal takes the precaution in their minds. Do not be afraid, if our students have achieved their goal, there is no need for me to come.
Young people and their families congratulate the graduation heartily. I kiss the eyes of young people, I congratulate them all!
They stole the same right from Boğaziçi University students, and reduced graduation to faculty buildings. Students and parents could not come together. If Boğaziçi students say they will do it, I will be with them.”
