The A-Team, consisting of Seferihisar Semiha İrfan Çalı Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, Balçova Asil Nadir Secondary School and Konak Çınarlı Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School affiliated to the İzmir Provincial Directorate of National Education, returned with an award from TEKNOFEST held in Azerbaijan.
Fatma Behal Şüyun, who worked at Balçova Asil Nadir Secondary School, was captained by Süleyman Burçin Şüyun, who worked at Seferihisar Semiha İrfan Çalı Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, at Teknofest held in Azerbaijan between 25-29 May. A TEAM, consisting of Gürkan Lokman and Tolga Orhanoğlu, competed on behalf of the İzmir Provincial Directorate of National Education. A TEAM placed 36rd in the “Smart Qarabaq” Hakaton where 3 teams from many countries competed.
Receiving their awards from Selcuk Bayraktar, the founder of T3 foundation, and Reşat Rashad Nabiyev, Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of Azerbaijan, the team was appreciated with the smart systems they developed for Karabakh.
Reşat Rashad Nabiyev, Minister of Transport, Communications and High Technologies of Azerbaijan, said that 12 solutions developed within the scope of the project named “Sustainable Smart City” are applicable not only in Karabakh but also in all Azerbaijan.
