While expansions were made in the regions where the expropriations were completed, the Metropolitan Municipality started the construction of the new bridge, which is one of the most important pillars of the project. The bridge, which will be built with an investment of approximately 30 million TL, will be 56 meters long and 17 meters wide. Wishing the new investment to be beneficial, Metropolitan Mayor Hayrettin Güngör stated that the projects will rise one by one throughout the city.
30 Million TL Investment
Chairman Hayrettin Güngör said, “We have started the construction of our new bridge within the scope of Sarayaltı - Kanlıdere - Kale connection road project. We are building a new bridge, 30 meters long and 56 meters wide, in the region with an investment of approximately 17 million TL. Our work has begun. Hopefully we will complete our construction quickly. With this project, the historical Kanlıdere Bridge in the region will also be pedestrianized. We discuss these processes with our stakeholder institutions. I wish our new bridge to be good for our city. We continue to increase our investments throughout the city," he said.

In line with the UKOME decision taken regarding the works carried out in the region within the scope of Sarayaltı - Kanlıdere - Kale Connection Road project, it has been stated that Şehit Hasesoğlu Hacı İbrahim Caddesi in Dulkadiroğlu Ekmekçi District will be closed to traffic until 21 June. In the statement made by the Transportation Department regarding the decision, “A series of works are being carried out in Dulkadiroğlu Ekmekçi District as part of the Sarayaltı - Kanlıdere - Kale Connection Road project. In this context, Şehit Hasesoğlu Hacı İbrahim Street will be closed to traffic until 21 June. It is important for drivers to turn to alternative routes in order to avoid disruptions that may occur in traffic.
