The letter of the Presidency, which was discussed in the Metropolitan Municipality Council, was accepted unanimously. Giving good news to the farmers with his social media accounts, Yavaş said, “We are starting Turkey's most comprehensive 'Diesel Support to Farmers' on the basis of local governments. I would like to thank our council members who supported our decision. We will not allow our producer to be crushed under the economic crisis.” It is planned to provide diesel support in March with Başkent Cards, which will be distributed to tens of thousands of farmers.

OBJECTIVE: REDUCE THE INPUT COSTS OF FARMERS AND INCREASE PRODUCTION
The presidential letter, which states, "Diesel support is planned to support production in our districts within the borders of Ankara province and to reduce the input costs of our farmers," was accepted unanimously by all groups in the Metropolitan Municipality.

The Metropolitan Municipality, which supports domestic producers in many fields from seeds to livestock, especially during the pandemic period, is preparing to distribute Başkent Cards to farmers as of January 17. The Rural Services Department plans to provide diesel support to tens of thousands of farmers, who will be determined according to certain criteria, in March, after the card distributions are completed.
