Ankara to Narlıdere subway

Narlıdere subway approval from Ankara: İzmir Metropolitan Municipality's 7.2 kilometer F.Altay-Narlıdere metro line project is awaiting approval from the Ministry of Transport. The Metropolitan Municipality, which is preparing to apply to the Ministry of Development for the inclusion of the investment, aims to tender the construction of the line at the end of this year.
Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, extending the Izmir subway from Evka 3 to Fahrettin Altay and extending to 19 kilometers, is now preparing to take the line to Narlıdere and taking it to 26 kilometers. In order not to affect the daily life and social life on the route, the ecek deep tunnel geçil metro line will be crossed on the 30 June 2016 project. The Metropolitan Municipality has recently received the approval of the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, General Directorate of Infrastructure Investments.

Tendering target at year's end
Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, 7.2 kilometers long, consisting of 7 station F.Altay - Narlıdere line to be included in the investment program will apply to the Ministry of Development in the coming days. In this process, the necessary procedures for the purchase of loans from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development will be completed. If the applications are positive, the tender is planned for the construction of the line at the end of 2016.
F.Altay –Narlıdere line, which consists of 7 stations, includes Balçova, Çağdaş, Dokuz Eylül University Hospital, Faculty of Fine Arts (GSF), Narlıdere, Siteler and finally the district governorate stations.
