Reminding that citizens living in the provinces on the route were also introduced to the high-speed train, Uraloğlu said, “With the project, we introduced the provinces of Kırıkkale, Yozgat and Sivas to the comfort of YHT. The distance between Ankara and Sivas was reduced from 603 kilometers to 405 kilometers, the travel time from 12 hours was reduced to 2 hours, and the distance between Ankara and Yozgat was reduced to 1 hour. Uraloğlu underlined that with the high-speed train line put into service, the provinces of Kırıkkale, Yozgat and Sivas were connected to the Ankara-centered high-speed train network, and said that approximately 1,3 million citizens living in these provinces had the opportunity to travel by YHT. Stating that Ankara - Sivas YHT flights stop at Ankara, Kırıkkale, Yozgat, Sivas stations, Uraloğlu said, “We increased the stopping points with Sorgun YHT Station and Akdağmadeni YHT station, which came into service on March 13, 2024. Sorgun YHT Station has a passenger capacity of 240 thousand, and Akdağmadeni YHT Station has a passenger capacity of 135 thousand. At the same time, combined transportation with Sivas-Malatya regional train and YHT connection is possible. "In this way, reaching Malatya is more comfortable and takes less time," he said.

Underlining that they, as the Ministry, carry out every service they provide in line with the needs and demands of the citizens, Minister Uraloğlu said, “We have completed the work in line with the requests from the passengers for non-stop Sivas-Istanbul flights. As of May 4, our express and non-stop high-speed train services will start between Sivas and Istanbul. It will depart from Sivas at 13.00 and reach Istanbul at 20.08, and it will depart from Istanbul at 08.40 and reach Sivas at 15.58. "The Istanbul-Sivas flight will take 7 hours 18 minutes, and the Sivas-Istanbul flight will take 7 hours 8 minutes." He made a statement.
