Şadi Özdemir: New Perspectives Are Needed in Nilüfer

Nilüfer Mayor Candidate Şadi Özdemir continues to take the pulse of the city before the local elections on March 31. Şadi Özdemir, who tries to reach everyone by traveling 64 neighborhoods of Nilüfer, street by street, meets all segments of the city. This time, Özdemir met with the members of RUMELİSİAD, where entrepreneurs of Rumelian origin come together under one roof.

Nilüfer Mayor Candidate Şadi Özdemir, who visited RUMELİSİAD at the association building together with CHP Bursa Deputy Hasan Öztürk and CHP Osmangazi Mayor Candidate Erkan Aydın, was welcomed by Mayor Zarif Alp and Board members.

RUMELİSİAD President Zarif Alp, in his speech, said, "Industrialists have problems," and explained his expectations from politicians. Alp said, “We, as industrialists, are very troubled by the situation we are in. I hope this election will be beneficial in terms of local government. No matter who is elected, change is needed. "There is a lot to be done for Bursa, and we, as industrialists, are ready to do our part," he said.

Nilüfer Mayor Candidate Şadi Özdemir pointed out that the Balkan community has a very active place in the business world and said, “You are valuable to us. "The contribution of the Balkan community to the development of Bursa is great," he said.

Referring to the “100 Güldüren Projects” that he will implement for Nilüfer, Özdemir said, “Nilüfer has been managed with a social democratic perspective for 25 years. Of course, there is also a value created by the industry in Nilüfer. "Nilüfer is a brand city and we can carry this brand further with your support," he said.

Drawing attention to the abundance of organized industrial zones in Nilüfer and the problems they cause, Şadi Özdemir said, “A new industrial zone step should not be taken in Nilüfer anymore. For Bursa, the medium technology industry should be abandoned and the high technology industry should be taken into consideration. We must ensure qualitative growth for the industry by encouraging high technology. A new perspective is needed for Nilüfer. This city is very valuable and we all live here. That's why we must protect the interests of the city together. "Being from Nilüfer is different, but we need to strengthen this," he said.
