Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay met with the tradesmen before the iftar and with the citizens after the tarawih prayer.
Mayor Altay stated that Konya's greatest strength is the sense of unity and solidarity and said, “I would like to thank each of my fellow citizens who support the city with production and employment. After the tarawih prayer at Meram Seyid Harun Tekke Mosque, Mayor Altay shared the Ramadan enthusiasm of the people of Konya with Meram Mayor Mustafa Kavuş, AK Party Meram District Chairman Mustafa Dolular and MHP Meram District Chairman Mahmut Yaman.
Mayor Altay, who greeted and chatted with the people of Konya after Tarawih, said, "Reminding that Ramadan is the month of unity, solidarity and brotherhood, we come together with our fellow citizens on the occasion of Tarawih Meetings in the month of mercy. "May God bring us all to the Night of Power and the Eid with health," he said.
