Emphasizing that they completed the candidacy process completely and without any problems, İYİ Party Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Candidate Selçuk Türkoğlu said, “As of yesterday, the lists of both our mayor candidates and municipal council member candidates in all 17 districts and metropolitan cities were delivered to the district election boards. In the next period, the parties will begin an intense struggle in front of the public until the election date. There is a movement in that sense. "As İYİ Party organizations, we have completed this candidate process without any problems throughout Turkey." he said.
“WE HAVE BEEN IN THE FIELD SINCE WE CAME TO BURSA”
Saying that he has been in the field since he stepped into Bursa, İYİ Party Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Candidate Selçuk Türkoğlu said, “We came as students in 89, God granted us such a path. We were on the field when we were a union, we were on the field when we were provincial presidents, we were still on the field even though our duty as a member of parliament was not yet one year old. Fortunately, our fate was also determined on the streets.” said.
“THERE IS AN ABNORMAL COMPLAINT IN THE FIELD”
Stating that there were abnormal complaints from the public in their field studies, İYİ Party Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Candidate Selçuk Türkoğlu made the following statements on the subject:
“We followed the same path as the voters in the field. We have such a style both as a party and as individuals. There is an abnormal complaint on the field. Firstly, these are complaints arising from general policies, and the economy comes first. The second is the refugee problem. Our people and tradesmen can no longer compete, they left the area and became ghettos, officially closing two of our neighborhoods, and this is a problem that is increasing and is pregnant with serious social events in the future. An incompatible culture, a different understanding, a completely closed society, closed to integration and the real issue is war, etc. They have another administration with their own closed communication areas, which although it is finished and can go for a walk, does not want to leave here due to the opportunities available here, and remains silent for now only because it has not reached sufficient numbers. The third complaint is transportation. There is a serious traffic problem, we are similar to Istanbul. "Citizens lose at least two hours of the day on the road."
WILL TÜRKOĞLU WITHDRAW HIS CANDIDACY?
Responding to the recent allegations that he will withdraw from candidacy, İYİ Party Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Candidate Selçuk Türkoğlu said, “Let's not abandon seriousness, sincerity and honesty. If we abandon these concepts, tomorrow the meaning of life, the meaning of politics, and nothing will have any meaning. I don't even respond to such allegations so that they don't become a hot topic. Don't withdraw like that, don't retreat like that... As long as God gives me life, I have never done anything in my life as if. We have been on the field with the problems of the nation since the day we were elected. Our organizations, our headquarters and our chairman approved our candidacy for metropolitan municipality, and we do not do it 'as if'.” said.
