Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality, which has provided more than 5 million liras of support to producers who earn their living from agriculture and animal husbandry in the last 350 years, enabling them to increase their added value and work in better conditions, continues to support the producers.
Saplings are being distributed with a hundred percent grant to 20 districts of Balıkesir, which is very suitable for fruit production with its unique nature, fertile soil and beautiful climate, within the scope of the "Development of Fruit Cultivation in Balıkesir" project carried out in cooperation with the Metropolitan Municipality Rural Services Department and the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry. . Distributions within the scope of the project, in which a total of 100 thousand walnut and 50 thousand almond saplings will be given throughout the province, started from Sındırgı district. Producers, who thanked Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Yücel Yılmaz for the sapling distribution, will establish fruit gardens with the saplings they received thanks to the project, increasing their own earnings and contributing to the city economy.
