Modern minibuses on the roads

Modern dolmuş taxis on the roads: Balikesir Metropolitan Mayor Edip Ugur, the city's public transportation provides comfort for the new dolmuş taxi.
Within the scope of the works of Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Planning and Rail Systems Department, 82 of the minibus taxis serving in Altıeylül and Karesi districts were renewed. Balıkesir Metropolitan Mayor Ahmet Edip Uğur examined and tested the vehicles in the Public Transport Center.
Upon the proposal of Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Planning and Rail Systems Department, the minibuses that were renewed with the decision of the Metropolitan Municipality Council started to come into service. 82 of the minibus taxis serving in Altıeylül and Karesi districts were renewed and put into service. The new vehicles, which came into service as a 8 1-capacity minibus, made it more comfortable and modern than the old ones. The new vehicles are air conditioned, with security cameras and compatible with the electronic fare system (Balkart). The remaining vehicles were reported to be renewed and put into service as soon as possible.
Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Edip Uğur examined and tested new vehicles in the Public Transport Center and received the opinions of the tradesmen and citizens about the new vehicles. Facing the positive opinions of tradesmen and citizens, Mayor Uğur tested both by riding new vehicles. Mayor Uğur wished that the new vehicles would be beneficial to Balıkesir and joined the charity organized by the drivers.
Mayor Uğur was accompanied by AK Party Balıkesir MP Kasım Bostan, Karesi Mayor Yücel Yılmaz, Mayor of Altieylul Zekai Kafaoglu, Balıkesir Chamber of Merchants and Craftsmen (BESOB) and Chauffeur Chamber President Fehmi Erdem.
