Making the opening speech of the meeting, TOBB Young Entrepreneurs Board President Mustafa Hazbulan said, “We come together with the Mayor candidates during the election period. Speaking at the meeting, Mayor Bilgin said, “We stand before the nation as a member of a political approach that produces revolutionary works, prioritizes the politics of service and work, highlights works instead of perception, and is based on hard work instead of polemics. "We are part of a team that has been on the field and exerted a will in terms of the works brought to Sivas, both during our term as a member of parliament and during our term as Mayor." he said.

“WE HAVE NOT GIVEN UP ON COMMON REASON AND CONSULTATION”

"When we became Mayor 5 years ago, the words we used most were to serve the city with a participatory, accountable and transparent approach," said Mayor Bilgin, adding, "We held many meetings to ensure participation. We gave account to many NGOs, including you, and the TSO Assembly in this hall 5 times in a 4-year period. We came here and explained the account of the 5 years in the November and December assembly at the end of each year. We attach importance to participation. We attach importance to accountability. We have never, ever given up on common sense and consultation. Because Sivas is the city of all of us... This city is not small enough to be left to the imagination and horizon of just one person or group. It is up to the administrator to be able to do this and to present it, we know what we do and how to do it. We have self-confidence, and we have not adopted the 'I did it, it's done, I know' mentality, both in terms of the political mission we represent and the management approach. “We included everyone who had a dream or a project for this city in the process.” he said.

“WE CARRIED THE POWER OF ANKARA TO SİVAS”

Mayor Bilgin said, “We said that we will carry the power of Ankara to Sivas. We received great support from our ministers and government, especially our President, on every issue, and with this support, we brought all our works, which we say 'we promised and did' today, to our city. Ankara actually had the power to bring these works to life. If the municipalities are limited in terms of resource generation and cannot take projects to Ankara and deliver the project, the services they can provide with the budget coming from the Bank of Provinces are limited. He pays the salaries of his staff, pays for his shopping with tradesmen in terms of daily current expenses, other than that, he does not have the opportunity to undertake the huge project. But if you can get support by taking the right project to the right places at the right time, you can provide great services to the city. We have a purpose, a problem, a love. The basis of our fight, our love and our struggle is to serve Sivas. The mentality we represent does not see the seats we occupy as positions. He sees it as the purpose of serving the nation. "The tasks will pass and be completed one day, and if we increase the number of people who say that they did good work at the end of the day, they did work that would add value to the city, they prevented mistakes, they worked well, then we will see ourselves as successful." he said.
