SAKBİS, which was implemented by Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality to increase bicycle use in order to place bicycles at the center of human life, achieve a healthy life and minimize the damage to the environment, was preferred by everyone from 2023 to 7 in 70.
SAKBİS stations, installed in many parts of the city, became the focus of attention of Sakaryans in 2023. Thousands of citizens who use bicycles for work, home and social activities rented a total of 12 thousand 557 times this year. The total usage time of SAKBİS reached 1 million 264 thousand minutes. SAKBİS, which has 24 thousand subscribers, is offered to citizens for a fee of 15 TL for 4 minutes, without any opening fee.
Citizens now widely use SAKBİS to go to work, to reach their homes and in their social activities. The Metropolitan Municipality, which has introduced a more widespread application system to appeal to every citizen living in the city, is bringing the bicycle to the center of Sakarya day by day.
