Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, which supports sports and athletes in every field, hosts many sports organizations. Before qualifying for the Para Sailing Turkey Championship to be held between 3-8 June, 24 disabled athletes performed their training at Darıca Balyanoz Bay. 4 DAYS OF TRAINING
20 physically disabled athletes from different provinces of Turkey and 4 physically disabled athletes of the Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality I Am in Sports Project will participate in the Money Sailing Turkey Championship, which is organized with the partnership of Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, Turkey Physically Disabled Sports Federation and Turkey Sailing Federation. Athletes trained with their trainers in Darıca Balyanoz Bay during the 30-day period between 2 May and 4 June before the qualification rounds of the championship.
WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP AFTER QUALIFICATIONS
The qualifying rounds for the Para Sailing Turkey Championship will start on Saturday, June 3 and end with the award ceremony that will take place on Thursday, June 8 at 16.00. Athletes who were selected by showing success in the eliminations, which were expected to be fiercely competitive, will represent Turkey at the World Para Sailing Championship.
