In Istanbul, which is larger than 23 countries in Europe with its population, approximately 60 percent of public transportation is provided by buses with rubber wheels. While this service is provided by many different institutions simultaneously in different metropolises of the world, IETT provides this service alone in Istanbul.
IETT, one of the well-established institutions of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, will purchase 700 new drivers.
In this direction, with the assurance of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, 700 bus drivers are recruited to IETT. Anyone who has at least 1 year E class or new D class driver's license can apply at Kariyer.ibb.istanbul.
In order to increase the number of female drivers, which it started in the last 3 years and has already reached 115, IETT wishes especially for women to apply.
- Preferably high school graduate
- Having experience as a bus driver or wanting to take up this position, preferably using a different brand/model bus,
- At least 1 year E class or new D class driver's license,
- Preferably have SRC-2 certificate,
- Psychotechnical certificate,
- Has not caused a fatal or injured traffic accident as a principal fault,
- His driver's license was not confiscated due to penalty points,
- Has not received a traffic ticket for drunk driving in the last 3 years,
- Able to adapt to flexible working hours,
- Friendly, positive, developed service culture, willing to make a difference in public transportation services,
- Relying on road information in Istanbul.
