Emirates Group, a leader in aviation innovation, is hosting the first event of ForsaTEK. It is a new opportunity creation platform that combines two start-up programs from Intelak and Aviation X Lab, working with key technology and industry partners, start-ups and key players in the ecosystem.

The event was officially launched by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and CEO of Emirates Company and Group: “Innovation has been an integral part of the Emirates Group DNA since its inception. With the development of technology, we have always strived to provide better values ​​and solutions to our customers. ForsaTEK is another platform to present technology startups and applications in our industry. Together with our like-minded partners and some of the brightest innovators in the industry, we have built a robust ecosystem of incubators offering cutting-edge tourism initiatives.”

Held at the Emirates Group headquarters on March 9 and 10 in collaboration with industry partners, the ForsaTEK trade fair is thematically focused on aviation, travel and tourism. The event is designed as a platform to showcase the future of travel through entrepreneurship and innovation, foster collaboration, foster incubation communities and spark new ideas.

Emirates Group's partners for this unique event include Accenture, Airbus, Amadeus, Collins Aerospace, Dubai Ministry of Economy and Tourism, GE Aerospace, Microsoft and Thales.

These partners thrilled audiences with a variety of extraordinary screenings and demonstrations, including the first robotic check-in from Emirates, artificial intelligence from Microsoft, digital solutions focused on efficiency and safety from GE Aerospace, and eSIM from Thales. The Dubai Future Foundation presented their work and goals for the city, and Maha Gaber, founder of Digital and Savvy, engaged the audience with the theme of “building your own brand”.

More than 20 start-ups, part of Intelak or Aviation X Lab, showcased their innovations in a marketplace-style exhibition space and presented their travel visions to a broad audience of VIPs, investors and the broader tech industry.

Emirates COO, Adel Al Redha, elaborated on aviation innovation and emerging technologies during the interview. Panel discussions included current topics such as women in tourism and technology or AI ChatGPT. At the event on March 10, university students will try out new technologies, inspire a new generation and discuss topics such as youth empowerment.
