The 60th International Bursa Festival kicks off on Sunday, June 12, with a concert by world-famous composer Fahir Atakoğlu with Bursa Regional Giants Symphony Orchestra.
Turkey's longest-running event, the International Bursa Festival, opens its stage for the 12th time on Sunday, June 60, for art lovers, with the slogan "From Generation to Generation". The Golden Karagöz Folk Dance Competition, which will be held for the 34th time this year, will also be held between 2-7 July within the scope of the festival, which will be held with the participation of famous artists and groups. 22 dancers from 800 countries will participate.
The 'International Bursa Festival', which will be held for the 60th time this year by the Bursa Culture, Art and Tourism Foundation (BKSTV) on behalf of Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, under the main sponsorship of the Atış Companies Group with the contributions of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, will be held under the sponsorship of Uludağ Premium and the famous composer, commentator Fahir Atakoğlu and Bursa Regional It begins with a concert by the State Symphony Orchestra.

In addition, the internationally renowned Mark Eliyahu will give a concert at the festival, and the world-famous Barcelona Gibsy Balkan Orchestra and the Lazgi group, which will take the stage for the first time in Turkey at the International Bursa Festival, will also perform.
Festival special concert
On July 1, the Nilüfer Women's Choir will present a special screening for the festival at the BKSTV Special Night. Concert of 'World songs from tongue to tongue, 100 regions of Turkey' with 7 choristers. The Nilüfer Women's Choir, which will take the stage under the direction of Aysel Gürel, will be presented at the Open Air Theatre, free of charge, in a concert that blends world languages, Turkish art and folk music with dances.
Altın Karagöz on stage after 2 years
The musical feast at the festival will be replaced by the excitement of the International Golden Karagöz Folk Dance Competition, which has been held for 2 years, excluding the pandemic period, as of July 34. More than 17 dancers from 22 countries will participate in the folk dance competition whose excitement will spread to 800 districts of Bursa.
