With the circular of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the device, which has been made mandatory for search and rescue teams to be on the field since January, can signal the surrounding 35-meter area from a depth of 70 meters for 40 hours.

With the circular of the Ministry, the "life signal device", which has been made mandatory for the search and rescue teams who have been on the field since January this year, ensures that those who are under the snow are rescued in a short time.

Van Provincial Disaster and Emergency Directorate officers continue their training to prevent avalanches from causing pain and to carry out search and rescue efforts in a more controlled manner.

In this context, theoretical and practical avalanche training was given to approximately 75 people, consisting of security guards working in Çatak, Başkale, Bahçesaray and Gürpınar districts, where the risk is high, 2 Policemen working in Special Operations, Riot Forces and Police Search and Rescue units, and soldiers in border units.

The officers who were trained began to use life signal devices, which were made mandatory for the teams going out to the field as of January this year, with the circular issued by the Ministry of Interior last year.

The places of those who have the device, which gives signals to the 70-meter area around it, even from a depth of 35 meters, for 40 hours, are detected in a short time and rescued.
