Istanbulkart Fees Increased by 92 Percent

Various Istanbulkart fees used in transportation vehicles such as buses, subways, trams, ferries and metrobuses have been increased in Istanbul.

According to the increased tariff put into practice by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), there was a 13 percent increase in Anonymous Istanbulkart, which rose from 25 lira to 92 lira.

Discounted Istanbulkart, which is used by students, teachers and people over the age of 60 in public transportation, and the Free Card, which is also used by the disabled, and the Blue Card increased from 20 lira to 35 lira.

Inspection Card from 40 liras to 50 liras, Island Resident Card from 20 liras to 35 liras, personalized Istanbulkart from 20 liras to 40 liras, Personnel and Trainee Attendance Control System Card from 26 liras to 35 liras, and Vehicle Driving Certificate Card from 40 liras to 50 liras.

On the other hand, in December, the visa processing fee of Discounted Istanbulkart was increased from 5 liras to 13 liras.

An increased price tariff has been added to Istanbulkart's website.

In the statement made by İBB BELBİM Electronic Money and Payment Services Inc., it was stated that Istanbulkart costs are around 35 liras, and the price of Anonymous Istanbulkart has been determined to be 25 liras as of today, in line with the decision taken by our management.
