Bandırma-Bursa-Çanakkale-Bilecik high speed train projects are planned to be completed in 2021.
Works are in progress for the Bandırma-İzmir, Bandırma-Bursa-Bilecik high-speed train project prepared by GMKA and the Bandırma-Çanakkale-Tekirdağ railway project. When the projects are completed, 30 between Bandırma-Bursa, 90 between Bandırma and İzmir, 240 between Bandırma and Tekirdağ will be reduced to minutes. The project, which will connect the Aegean, Bandırma and Tekirdağ Ports to the European Continent, will serve as a freight and passenger transport line. It will be connected to Ankara-Istanbul line with Bursa connection. With the completion of the 215 km long project, rail transport will be provided between Bursa and Bandırma, an industrially developed province. The railway project, which will serve passenger and freight transportation between Bandırma and Çanakkale, will reach Çanakkale via Tekirdağ and Biga and Karabiga routes to cover Bandırma OIZ and Gönen Deri Specialized and Mixed Organized Industrial Zones starting from Bandırma.
HAS NOT COME TO THE TENDER STAGE
In the latest information about the project; Bandırma-Çanakkale-Tekirdağ railway and Bandırma-İzmir high speed train project has not yet come to the tender stage. The project is expected to be completed in 2021.
