The Digital Transformation Office, which was established within Tülomsaş about 1,5 years ago, decided to convert the locomotive systems into a digital platform in the direction of the road map determined as a result of the works and workshops. In this context, the design of all electrical and electronic control system located in Turkey's first diesel-electric locomotive local and national dexnumx algorithms and development work was carried out by Tulomsas R & D Center. TLMS (Tülomsaş Locomotive Monitoring System) which is part of the electrical-electronic control systems and the data received in real time from the sub-systems of DE10000 National Diesel Electric Maneuver Locomotive; software is provided by Tülomsaş personnel to UIC10000 user interfaces in the HMI (Human Machine Interface) is provided to be transferred to the machine. In addition, the data can be used for remote monitoring, diagnostics and recording in the vicinity of 612 of the related subsystems by means of these software.
With TLMS, the information of units such as Vehicle Control Unit, Draw Frame Control Unit, Diesel Engine Control Unit, Cooling Control Unit and Brake Control Unit is displayed. In addition, the availability of the starter, the start of the engine, the diesel engine run, stop, idle commands, the availability of the conditions of the conditions, traction motor current, torque, speed, temperature, skidding information, machinist control inputs and all the specific additional data can be displayed for all systems.
THE BENEFITS OF THE TLMS AND CAR CONTROL SYSTEM IN THE DE10000 LOCOMOTIVE
Due to the digitalization studies, the interaction between the engineer and the locomotive has been made more ergonomic compared to the analogue systems in the old locomotives. In addition, statistical records of fault records, specific alarm conditions and locomotive usage habits of the mechanic will be recorded. Thanks to TLMS, which will make testing and fault finding easier in locomotive development, new system integration, fault repair and maintenance / revision processes, cost and time saving in the mentioned processes has been made easier in time to create the product suitable for customer requirements.
Thanks to TLMS developed by TÜLOMSAŞ R & D Center, the necessary experience for the creation of new generation TKYS (Train Control and Management Systems), access to locomotive data via HMIs and remote access to data related to the integration of GSM (Global System Mobile) In order to make statistical studies on olan big data kapsamında management, Io cloud “and inin Internet of Things oloj (IoT) technologies have been established and in Predictive Maintenance“ related to the locomotives are needed to ensure compliance with Industry 4.0 requirements. the necessary experience for the establishment of infrastructure has been gained. In the Digital Transformation Workshop for Locomotives, a significant step was taken in the integration of vehicle-based systems with the participation of universities and private companies, and the identification of national road maps for digital transformation.
SHORT, MEDIUM AND LONG-TERM DEVELOPMENT SYSTEMS
In the short term, in the medium term, in the medium-term, hybrid locomotives, electric and diesel electric mainline and maneuvering locomotives, diesel hydraulic locomotives and National Highways (high-speed trains) to be used in high-speed train and high value-added TQMS TÜLOMSAS R & D Center is intended to be produced by minimum costs.

In the long term, all the requirements of ılan Predictive Maintenance zaman will be fulfilled thanks to the statistical data and the expertise gained in a long period of time with respect to the Industry 4.0 compliance processes.
The commissioning system can be seen in the national electric maneuvering locomotive which will be exhibited for the first time at the EURASIA RaiL exhibition to be held in 10-12 April 2019.
