China's eye on Russia's first high-speed train project

China's eye in Russia's first high-speed train project: China Railway Head Sen Haojun, 2016 said they plan to increase the volume of high-speed railway construction. Şen said that they are planning to invest in Russia.
According to China's state-run Jenmin Jibao, Sen said that in 2016, Russia's first high-speed train project would try to sign a contract for the construction of the Moscow-Kazan line. Şen, Las Vegas-Los Angeles, Malaysia-Singapore railway projects said they want to take part in.
2018 WILL BE GROWED TO THE WORLD CUP
With the Moscow-Kazan high-speed train line planned to be opened in 2018 in Russia before the FIFA World Cup, the travel time between the two cities will be reduced from 14 to 3.5 hours.
The tender for the project in April 2015 was received by two Russian companies and one of the partner companies of the China Railways Group (CREC). However, there were no official signatures for the project, which would cost 2.42 billion yuan (about 395 million dollars).
INVESTORS TO BE DETERMINED IN FEBRUARY
The Russian government approved the 13 January 2016 and adopted the program for the realization of the project. Investors who will take part in the project are expected to gain certainty in February.
