Passenger demand is increasing day by day. The occupancy rate of Ankara-Istanbul and Ankara-Eskişehir YHT is 81 percent, and the occupancy rate of Ankara-Konya YHT is 82 percent. It also exceeds 90 percent on weekends. With the increase in the number of YHT vehicles, the number of trips will be increased and the demand will be met. Pointing out that the demand for YHT increased, Minister Elvan said, “Before YHT, an average of 572 passengers were carried between Ankara and Eskişehir per day by conventional trains. After YHT, this number reached 6-7 thousand. The share of train transportation increased from 8 percent to 72 percent with YHT. We are aware of this increase in demand. "We aim to increase the number of trips to 2 by adding 38 more trips to this line."
