Fast train will come to Alanya: Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications Lütfi Elvan, gave the good news of the fast train. Among the projects there is Alanya on the Konya line.
Lütfi Elvan, Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, went to Konya's Ereğli district to attend the Ordinary Congress of the Justice and Development Party (AKP) Ereğli District Presidency. Addressing the party members at the congress at the Municipality Cultural Center, Minister Elvan stated that they will start the work of the Karaman-Ereğli-Ulukışla high-speed train line before the New Year.
Minister Elvan said, “This nation suffered a lot from transportation and roads. Remember those old one-lane roads from Ereğli to Ankara and Konya. You are driving on divided roads today. AKP weaves the country with iron nets. We will speed it up further in the upcoming period. We are not satisfied with the Konya-karaman Ereğli Ulukışla-Mersin-Adana line only. From Samsun, we reach Çorum, Kırıkkale, Kırşehir, Aksaray, Ulukışla, and from there to Alanya, Mersin and the Mediterranean. In addition to the high speed train, we are bringing another high speed train to Konya. It is a high-speed train that runs from Antalya to Konya and Kayseri. This will hopefully increase the tourism potential of the region ”.
