As a result of the draw held at the EHF headquarters in Vienna, Turkey was paired with Sweden, Hungary and North Macedonia in Group A.
The EHF 2024 Women's European Championship will be played in four cities in three countries (Austria, Hungary and Switzerland) between 28 November and 15 December 2024.
24 teams will compete to lift the cup in the tournament, which will be the European Championship with the largest participation. In EURO 24, the preliminary round will be played in Basel (Switzerland), Innsbruck (Austria) and Debrecen (Hungary), while the main round will be played in Vienna (Austria) and Debrecen. The final match will be played in Vienna's Wiener Stadthalle, which has a capacity of 10.000 spectators. The EHF EURO 2024 logo reflects the colors of the flags of the three countries hosting the tournament (red, green and white), combined with the dynamic movement of handball.
EURO 2024 groups were formed as follows:
