'Appointment' Era in National Education... Schools Also Have Appointments

With the School Appointment System, parents will be able to make appointments for teacher meetings on the schools' websites with their e-Government user information.

After the Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin's statement that an appointment system should be established between the school principal and the teacher, which is implemented in many Western countries, the General Directorate of Information Technology of the Ministry of National Education, which started working, developed a new digital application for teacher-parent meetings.

With the "School appointment system" developed and put into use by software experts, parents can arrange the time to meet with the teacher they want to discuss the situation of their children studying at the school.

With the parent-appointment system, school administrators first determine the time availability of teachers for parent-teacher meetings.

Parents log in to the system via the school's website with their e-government user information. In the system, teachers can request appointments for vacant time slots from the availability table.

The system will be open until noon on the Friday before the week before the appointment will be made. In the afternoon of the same day, school administrations will notify teachers about their appointment times.

After logging in through the system, the parent will be able to request an appointment, view their active and old appointments, and cancel an appointment that is not due.
