Announcing the projects that will take Bursa, which contains very important tourism values, to higher levels in terms of tourism, Metropolitan Mayor and People's Alliance Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Alinur Aktaş said, “Uludağ, which stands out with its nature and winter tourism, thermal spas that have been a source of healing for centuries with their rich mineral content, We are taking the understanding of tourism to a new level with projects that will activate its tourism potential with its lakes, seas and countless works of art, which are on the world heritage list. "We are making our city, which is an important coastline in Southern Marmara with its 115 kilometers of sea coast, an important maritime destination with the marinas we will build in Mudanya Güzelyalı, Gemlik and Tirilye," he said.

ARTIFICIAL REEF IN MUDANYA

Explaining that they will make aesthetic touches to the coastal areas of the city, Mayor Aktaş said, “We are revitalizing our coastal city identity by improving the quality of our coasts with beaches, sightseeing and walking areas, recreation areas and piers, which we will make arrangements along the entire coastline from Gemlik to Karacabey. In this context, we will carry out many works such as the beach arrangement between Gemlik square and Karsak Creek, Kurşunlu beach arrangement, Tirilye beach arrangement, Güzelyalı promenade arrangement, Gemlik Hasanağa women's beach and youth center. We will also build modern fishing shelters in Mudanya and Gemlik districts. We will also create an artificial reef in Mudanya for diving enthusiasts. "With the Artificial Reef and Underwater Automobile Museum project, we will build a diving center in order to raise marine awareness in our city, which has 115 kilometers of sea coast," he said.

HOTWATER THERMAL FACILITY

Stating that they will implement Turkey's largest thermal facility project, Mayor Aktaş said, “We will make Bursa the 'Thermal Spring Capital' again with its precious thermal waters. The thermal facility, which will be built on an area of ​​25 decares in the Hotsu region, will be one of the largest thermal points in Turkey. We will make the best use of the thermal richness of the hot water region. "Within the scope of the project, a thermal facility building, a cure hotel and a physical therapy center will be created," he said.

CIVIL SOCIETY CAMPUS

Stating that more than 5 thousand non-governmental organizations such as associations, foundations and sports clubs are working in different fields of activity in Bursa, Mayor Aktaş said, “In our management approach in the new period, we aim to benefit from these non-governmental organizations at the highest level in all our activities. "We will create a 'Civil Society Campus' that meets all needs, including shared spaces and common areas, in order to carry out NGO activities more efficiently under one roof, in communication with each other," he said.

KELES RAFTING TRACK

Mayor Aktaş also announced that they will establish a 'Bursa Tourism Coordination Center' in the Khanlar Region in order to direct and coordinate the tourists coming to the city center and said, "We will develop the tourism potential of our city by increasing the alternatives. That's why we also attach importance to camping tourism. We will host camping enthusiasts in our city by creating camping and caravan areas in Uludağ and Çeltik. On the other hand, we are bringing the second rafting track of Bursa to our Keles district, next to the Orhaneli Rafting Track. "We are strengthening the tourism potential of our city center and districts," he said.

Reminding that Bursa has hosted many civilizations for centuries, Mayor Aktaş said, “We have a rich culture and belief values ​​in the 17 districts of our city. We will create faith tourism routes to activate this potential. In addition to our numerous values ​​such as Ulucami to Emirsultan, Green Tomb to Tophane, our values ​​such as Iznik St. "We are creating new routes for our customers," he said.
