Bursa's Historical and Natural Beauties Cannot Be Used for Tourism

Bursa is one of the cities of historical importance as it was one of the most important cities of both the Byzantine and Ottoman Empires. The fact that it was the capital of the Ottoman Empire makes Bursa one of the symbolic cities of Turkey.

The most fundamental reason for this is that names and works related to tourism cannot be introduced, described or routes cannot be clearly determined. Due to many problems such as transportation, infrastructure and parking, these points to tourism “It cannot be earned.”

Emphasizing that Bursa stands out in terms of nature tourism, Tatlıcı said, “Although many cities do not have lakes, there are two lakes in Bursa. It is also very rich in terms of waterfalls. Saitabat Waterfall, Alaçam Waterfall, Narlıdere Waterfall, Küreklidere Waterfall, Yarhisar Waterfall, Suuçtu Waterfall, Softaboğan Waterfall, Hasanağa Waterfall These are some of the riches, but there is no access to them. Since there is no access to them, it is not possible to introduce them. "As such, many of the people of Bursa remain unaware of these riches, let alone bringing them into tourism." he said.

UludagUnderlining that the Seven Lakes region in Turkey cannot be brought into tourism due to transportation and security reasons, Tatlıcı said, “There are seven glacial lakes on Uludağ. Even many people of Bursa do not know these lakes. The reason why they are not known is that they cannot be brought into tourism and cannot be promoted. Unfortunately, since there is no transportation to these and similar regions, there is a restricted tourism in Bursa and some cities of our country. Noting that Bursa is very rich but at the same time unaware of this wealth, Tatlıcı said, “Since there are so many artifacts, structures or natural wonders, bringing them all into tourism is of course a costly task, but it is necessary to start working in the short term. ” said.
