CHP Nilüfer Mayor Candidate Şadi Özdemir visited Bursaspor Club and met with Mayor Sinan Bür and Board Members. Şadi Özdemir and his wife Nuray Özdemir, CHP Nilüfer District Chairman Özgür Şahin and municipal council member candidates attended the visit at Bursaspor Özlüce Facilities.
Stating that the situation Bursaspor is in is sad for everyone, Şadi Özdemir emphasized that a new force can be formed to help the team regain its old days. Stating that Bursaspor can get back on its feet with the people of this city joining hands, Özdemir said, “Bursaspor is one of the most important values and brands of our city. Thousands of people's hearts beat with him, they rejoice with his successes and are saddened with his failures. Unfortunately, the state of this brand in recent years deeply saddens us all. We must take Bursaspor, which brings great pride to this city, to the Champions League level again. You manage it, we support it. "We need to come together with those who benefit from this land and do something," he said.
Bursaspor President Sinan Bür said that they will do the necessary work to get through the difficult days until the last moment. Stating that they had faith until the last match, Sinan Bür stated that there were financial problems and emphasized that the team should be supported more.
