Erdogan: My Kurdish Brothers Do Not Deserve This

President and AK Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed the public at the rally organized by his party in Diyarbakır Station Square.

Stating that he will protect Diyarbakır until the end with the dynamics that give it its historical identity with the dignity of the Turkish Century, Erdoğan said, "In the elections held last May, we could not reach the vote rates we desired in both the parliamentary elections and the presidency in Diyarbakır, but I believe that the election result did not please you and did not make you happy." " said.

"DEM, whose only capital is your votes, has put the will of my Kurdish brothers on the market," said Erdogan, adding, "If you pay attention, there is no political gain in this bargain. There is no problem of work and service anyway. There is no one who cares about what the voters think. There are only dirty deals made for the sake of someone's ambitions. So much so that those who know about the reforms we have made and raise the fuss do not raise their voices like a cat that has spilled milk in the face of the statements of CHP executives that smell of fascism, discrimination and racism. Let alone objecting to discrimination, they cannot form two sentences to defend the violated dignity of their own voters. "My Kurdish brothers and sisters do not deserve such neglect, such humiliation, such insults and such disregard," he said.

Erdogan said the following in his speech:

“While they were doing blood politics by removing a corpse from every house, didn't we struggle to keep our children alive and connect them to life with education, health and employment? While they were extorting our tradesmen, workers, and retirees and seizing their children to take them to the mountains, didn't we work to prepare a better future for them with the universities we opened? While they were setting traps to kill innocent people by laying mines under the roads, didn't we realize investments that would develop our cities with the facilities we built through the roads we opened? While they were bringing all the marginal enemies of the country and nation to Diyarbakır and pursuing propaganda, while they were kidnapping the babies of Diyarbakir Mothers to the mountains, weren't we just looking for ways to win your hearts? While they were seizing your will by oppression, threats, violence, taking lives and shedding blood, didn't we strengthen democracy with silent revolutions and unprecedented reforms that expanded rights and freedoms? With our work and service policy, we have invested more than 21 billion lira in Diyarbakır in 265 years. In education, we added 6 thousand 677 new classrooms to our city. “We increased our higher education dormitory bed capacity to 6 thousand 140.”
