Minister Yusuf Tekin Made Contacts in Izmir

Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin, who was in Izmir to participate in various programs, chaired the Izmir Education Managers Meeting held in the Izmir Economic Congress building.
Governor Süleyman Elban, general managers, İzmir National Education Director Ömer Yahşi, district national education directors and approximately 750 school principals attended the meeting.
Minister Tekin said that they want to make the next century of Turkey the "Turkey Century" and that they will build this process together with teachers. In his speech, Tekin said that they discussed the works that will increase the physical infrastructure and quality of education in every province they visited, and that they discussed all the decisions they made in the consultation environment they defined as the "Teachers' Chamber Meeting", and that they took steps after identifying the problem and evaluating the solution proposals. Pointing out that important decisions were taken in the building where the meeting was held 101 years ago, immediately after the War of Independence, to achieve economic independence, Tekin said: “In the same building, we will take decisions to make Turkey a country that will dominate the next century. We have built the process so far through teachers, and we will build the next process together with teachers. 100 years ago, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk told his comrades here, 'We will always strive for industrialization together.' he said. I am making the same offer to you. If we can make the next century the 'Turkey Century' together, we will do it together. "As the Ministry, we want it, if you want it too, let's walk together."
