It was decided to reduce the prices of red meat products in Bursa. As a result of the initiatives of Bursa AK Party Deputies Efkan Ala, Mustafa Varank, Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Alinur Aktaş and AK Party Bursa Provincial Chairman Davut Gürkan, with the protocol signed between Bursa Retailers Association (Bursa PERDER) and Meat and Milk Institution (ESK), Bursa's Red meat prices were also reduced.
Bursa PERDER Chairman of the Board of Directors Haşim Kılıç stated that the discount on red meat during Ramadan will provide great benefits to consumers. Kılıç emphasized that meat sales are intense during Ramadan and stated that the protocol is an important step to ensure citizens have access to meat at affordable prices. Stating that they are with the citizens during Ramadan, Kılıç said, “We took this important step to ensure that red meat enters every home during the holy month of Ramadan. "I hope this step will be beneficial for retailers and consumers, and I would like to thank our Bursa MPs, Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor, AK Party Bursa Provincial Chairman and Bursa PERDER members for supporting the protocol," he said.
