Eskişehir Odunpazarı Reaching Automobile Sports Facility

Odunpazarı Mayor Kazım Kurt, TOSFED Vice President Onur Sürmeli and TOSFED General Secretary Serhan Acar attended the protocol ceremony held in Eskişehir Odunpazarı Municipality.

Speaking at the protocol ceremony, Mayor Kurt said that they took the first step for the track they will build in Eskişehir with this protocol. Wishing good luck to the race fans and sports fans from Eskişehir, Mayor Kurt said, “I would like to thank Onur Sürmeli and TOSFED President and Secretary General for supporting us in this matter. I believe that it will contribute to both domestic and foreign tourism of Eskişehir. “Good luck,” he said.

TOSFED Vice President Onur Sürmeli said, “We have brought an international facility to my hometown, Eskişehir, under the leadership of our President Kazım Kurt. This facility will be a versatile facility where, in addition to automobile track races, drag, drift, karting and bicycle races will be provided, as well as advanced and safe driving training. "I would like to thank our Mayor of Odunpazarı, Kazım Kurt, for helping us with this issue," he said.

Noting that it was a historic day for automobile sports, TOSFED Secretary General Serhan Acar continued his speech with the following words: “With this track, our sport will also develop. It has been our dream to bring international races here since the moment the track was built. In other words, to hold some legs of the European Championship in various branches here. Therefore, we have made a very valuable signature on behalf of our country. On behalf of the federation, we would like to express our gratitude to our Mayor Kazım Kurt, who believed in this project and truly took the lead in getting it started. “We hope it will bring good luck to both Turkish sports and the people of Eskişehir.”
