Çolak: “Nilüfer Will Meet Real Municipality”

At the beginning of his speech, Çolak drew attention to the importance of non-governmental organizations. Çolak stated that non-governmental organizations have a very important place in democracies and that they guide country and city administrators in these aspects; “We closely follow the principled stance of the Bursa Platform and the work it has done for Bursa so far. We have collaborated with our friends here on different platforms in the past. "I attach importance to the work of the Bursa Platform Association, which accepts everyone living in Bursa as Bursa and strives to create urban awareness in Bursa and develop a sense of belonging to this city," he said.

“OUR GOAL IS TO INTRODUCE NİLÜFER TO THE SERVICE”

Çolak pointed out that cities need a people-first, service-oriented management approach; “Unfortunately, Nilüfer, who should be the apple of Bursa's eye, is constantly falling behind due to mismanagement. "Although it was a developing district later, it is rapidly becoming a slum due to faulty zoning practices," he said.

Citing Balat as an example of this statement, People's Alliance AK Party Nilüfer Mayor Candidate Çolak said, “The main street of Balat, which is one of our most recently developed places, stands out with its narrow sidewalks and insufficient parking lots. Nilüfer is not just about Özlüce Boulevard. "When we enter the side streets, wrong practices become more visible," he said.

“WE PREPARED VISION PROJECTS FOR NİLÜFER”

“Our district is longing for greenery, the municipality's gyms and parks are insufficient. "Green areas have been massacred," said Çolak, adding that they set out to introduce Nilüfer to real municipalism. Colak; “We prepared vision projects for Nilüfer. First, we will correct the mistakes and wrong practices. "We will act jointly with non-governmental organizations, use common sense, and carry our district to the place it deserves together," he said.

In his speech, Bursa Platform Association President İsmail Hakkı Kavurmacı said that they are working to create awareness of being from Bursa and develop the sense of belonging. After his speech, Kavurmacı presented the work they prepared as an association, called "Bursa Report", to Çolak. Çolak also examined the report and said that if he is elected as Nilüfer Mayor, he wants to work together to implement the projects prepared with great effort.
