Deniz Dalgıç, who took to the podium with the slogan "Mudanya will win with Deniz", pointed out that the district had many problems and said, "I entered politics to solve these problems. DISASTER RESISTANT MUDANYA
Emphasizing that first of all, they will make Mudanya resistant, resistant and safe against earthquakes and all kinds of disasters, Deniz Dalgıç said that they will carry out the rehabilitation and transformation works within the framework of respect for people, nature, history and culture and solve it in peace. Underlining that they will develop a Mudanya with an identity, Dalgıç said, “We will protect what exists, revive what is destroyed, and find and reveal what is lost. We will make Mudanya's resources available to our people living in Mudanya, and we will not create space for profit centers. "We will ensure that historical buildings are strengthened in accordance with their identities," he said.
Stating that they will create disaster parks where critical needs such as energy, water and shelter are ready, Dalgıç stated that they will cooperate with Bursa Metropolitan Municipality and neighboring municipalities, including disaster-oriented regional planning, and carry out integrated disaster and crisis assessment analyzes and action plans.
THE TRAFFIC PROBLEM WILL BE SOLVED
Emphasizing that they will stay away from temporary solutions in solving existing infrastructure problems or building new infrastructure, Deniz Dalgıç said that they will solve the problems permanently by making long-term plans.
Regarding the solutions to traffic, which is one of the most important problems of Mudanya, Dalgıç said, “We will build the Ring Connection Road that will connect Altıntaş with Ayazma. We will develop projects to reduce automobile entry into the city center. We will open new parking areas. We will organize public transportation. Here we will follow a participatory process together with professional chambers. We will implement the Pedestrian and Bicycle Transportation Plan as soon as possible. We will create an infrastructure and bicycle path network so that bicycles can become a means of transportation. "We will create bicycle parking areas," he underlined.
Announcing that they will implement the Mudanya Climate Change Plan, Dalgıç noted that they will both prevent trawling and increase seabed vitality by creating an artificial reef. Noting that they will also take measures to reduce carbon emissions in the district, Dalgıç stated that they will make our city calm and peaceful by preventing noise and visual pollution.
Meanwhile, Dalgıç emphasized that there are important agricultural products such as olives, figs and grapes in the district, and stated that they attach great importance to agriculture and that they will implement projects that will provide full support to the producers. Stating that they will establish an Agricultural Development Council in order to improve the agricultural qualities of the villages, Dalgıç said, “We will support environmentally friendly, rural and eco-tourism practices. We will give priority and advantage to domestic producers in the markets. We will also create short supply chains in physical and digital channels that will directly bring together producers and consumers. "We will also take initiatives to open an Agricultural Vocational High School in Mudanya," he said.
Stating that they will create a Tourism Platform that includes all stakeholders on tourism, Deniz Dalgıç stated that they will ensure the promotion of the city worldwide by establishing the Mudanya Promotion Agency and made the following evaluations about their target projects for tourism:
“By turning the Armistice Square into an open-air museum, we will explain the importance of this region, which has an important place in our Republic's history, to all corners of Turkey. We will reveal historical and touristic treasures in every corner of Mudanya, encourage tourism and increase our tourism revenues. We will protect existing historical monuments, revive the destroyed ones, find the lost ones and bring them into tourism. With gastronomy tourism, we will ensure that the unique flavors of Mudanya bring high profits for local producers. We will create gastronomy routes for Mudanya. We will create tourist routes for history, culture, art, architecture and faith tourism and organize trips to the rich history and culture of Mudanya. We will establish museums that reveal the values of Mudanya. There is no exchange museum in Mudanya. We will open this immediately. "We will open art workshops in the areas we evacuated due to disaster risk."
Stating that they will establish a city museum that will be a place of memory for the city, Dalgıç stated that they will bring together the people of Mudanya with free events in the streets, parks and squares of the city, as well as the cultural center. Dalgıç also emphasized that they will establish a Gastronomy Center in order to take the inventory of our rich culinary culture, and promised to make the City Council effective, ensure the participation of the people in the management, and govern the city together by making common sense prevail.
Noting that they will focus on Mudanya with sports activities, Deniz Dalgıç stated that they will provide the necessary opportunities for the development of sports infrastructure, and that they will open basketball courts and astroturf pitches and establish a Mudanya Women's Volleyball team.
