The "Let's Women Come to Manisa Project", which was initiated in 2013 under the leadership of Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Cengiz Ergün, where women living in the districts of Manisa have the opportunity to see the historical, natural and touristic beauties of Manisa, continues. Within the scope of the project, 75 women living in Akhisar district had the opportunity to get to know Manisa closely as guests of Manisa Metropolitan Municipality. Women from Akhisar, who were welcomed by Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor's Advisor Nursel Ustamehmetoğlu, Department Heads Fırat Özcan, Onur Pabuççuoğlu, Sibel Alkın Kedersiz and Social Services Department officials, first visited Masal Park at Masal Park in Şehzadeler district. Then, the women visited the Medical History Museum and the Sultan Mosque, and then visited the Muradiye Mosque, the only work of Mimar Sinan in Manisa. After their visit to the Mevlevi Lodge, the women were hosted for lunch at MASKİ General Directorate and continued their tour program in the afternoon.
A SURPRISE FROM MAYOR ERGÜN TO THE WOMEN OF AKHİSAR
The women, who were hosted for lunch at MASKİ General Directorate, were welcomed by Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Cengiz Ergün at their next stop, Ladies Family Tea Garden. During his tea break at Ladies' Coffeehouse, Mayor Ergün met with women from Akhisar who were touring the city within the scope of Manisa Metropolitan Municipality's Come on Women to Manisa Project. The women, who shared their satisfaction with the organized tour program, thanked President Ergün. Mayor Ergün took a souvenir photo with the women hosted in Manisa to commemorate the trip.
WOMEN FROM AKHİSAR ADMIRED MANİSA
Women from Akhisar, who also visited the Çanakkale Martyrs' Monument and Atatürk Youth Center, which were brought to the city by Manisa Metropolitan Municipality, were amazed by Manisa. Stating that they saw the historical, cultural and touristic values of Manisa closely with the project, the women thanked Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Cengiz Ergün for hosting them in Manisa.
