Stating that it is of great importance to strengthen the Beyşehir and Seydişehir districts, which are of great importance for the economy of Konya and Turkey due to their location, Uraloğlu said, “In Beyşehir; He pointed out that it is both one of the prominent life centers of the Lakes Region and an important transition point and tourism region connecting the Mediterranean and Central Anatolia Regions.
Minister Uraloğlu stated that they converted the Beyşehir-Seydişehir road, which currently serves as a surface-coated single-road standard, into a 28,3-kilometer-long divided road with bituminous hot mixture coating. Stating that they also built the 28-meter-long Kavak and 38-meter-long Çifte bridges within the scope of the project, Uraloğlu said that they increased the traffic safety on the route and established a fast and comfortable transportation service. Uraloğlu also stated that by significantly increasing the geometric and physical standards of the road, they provided faster and easier access to tourism centers such as Manavgat and Alanya in the east of Antalya and the Mediterranean Coastal Road via Beyşehir.

Pointing out that they reduced the travel time between Beyşehir and Seydişehir from 24 minutes to 17 minutes with the project, Uraloğlu said, “Thus, with this route, we will save 32 million liras in time and 25 million liras in fuel, totaling 57 million liras annually. Minister Uraloğlu also touched upon the work carried out for transportation and communication infrastructure in Konya by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure since 2002.
Minister Uraloğlu stated that they invested 128 billion 535 million liras for transportation and communication infrastructure in Konya and said, “We increased the length of Konya's divided road from 167 kilometers to 1.282 kilometers. "We made 614 kilometers of single-road improvements," he said.
