President Dündar Nominated for the 4th Term

AK Party Bursa District Mayor Candidates Promotion Meeting was held at TOFAŞ Sports Hall with the participation of President and AK Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. At the candidate introduction meeting with a large attendance, Erdoğan introduced the People's Alliance Mayoral Candidates in 17 districts of Bursa to the public. Mustafa Dündar, who served as Osmangazi Mayor for 3 terms, was re-nominated for the 4th term.

WHO IS MUSTAFA DÜNDAR?

He was born in Komotini in 1965. He finished primary school in Greece and then came to Turkey for secondary and high school education and completed his education in Turkey. He graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Law and worked as a freelance lawyer. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Bursa Branch of the Western Thrace Turks Solidarity Association and served as its president for 3 terms. He served as a member and vice president of the Osmangazi District Founding Board of Directors during the establishment of the Justice and Development Party. As a result of the general elections of November 3, 2002, he entered the parliament as the 22nd Term AK Party Bursa Deputy. Member of the Turkish delegation of the Mediterranean Parliamentary Assembly of the Turkish Grand National Assembly and the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Turkish Grand National Assembly sözcüHe assumed the position of chairman. He also served as the Chairman of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, Turkey-Greece inter-parliamentary Friendship Group.

He was elected as the Mayor of Bursa Osmangazi in the local elections of 29 March 2009 and 30 March 2014. Dündar, who entered the elections as a People's Alliance candidate in Osmangazi in the local elections of March 31, 2019, was elected as the Mayor of Osmangazi for the 3rd time. He is married with three children and speaks English and Greek.
