An introduction breakfast with the Muğla press was held, hosted by Bodrum Mayor and Muğla Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Candidate Ahmet Aras.

Mayor Ahmet Aras stated at the event that municipalism is not only about roads, water and electricity but also education, health, social and cultural and that all of these should be evaluated jointly and continued his words as follows:
“We are applying for these positions not to become mayors, but to work after becoming mayors. We will help our retirees and make their lives easier because retirees are currently the most oppressed, most difficult and exploited segment in Turkey. We, as the local government, will protect retirees until the end. We will attach great importance to education because the biggest problem right now is education. We will keep the dormitory problem of our university students as a top priority. We will also have projects that will ease their transportation opportunities. We care about equal opportunity in education. “We will support the work done by the metropolitan city regarding agriculture and we will continue to build on it.”
“WE WILL BRING PRODUCTION AND MARKET CLOSER TO EACH OTHER”
Mayor Aras also touched upon the work they carried out in Bodrum and said, “We established an agricultural school in Bodrum. Education in agriculture is also very important. At İsmail Hakkı Tonguç Agricultural School, we bring our farmers from time to time; We bring academics and experts there, bring them together and provide training. The most important thing is marketing. "We will bring this production and market closer together," he said.
MAYOR AHMET ARAS: “WE WILL GIVE MUĞLA A CITY IDENTITY.”
“Our claim is this: We will integrate all districts and the metropolitan city. We will give Muğla a city identity. From now on, Muğla will completely assume the identity of a city with its districts. That's why we will accelerate the integration. What has been done so far is very important, they will form the basis. "From now on, we will build on it and create a city identity."
