Anatolian Lions Businessmen Association (ASKON) Konya Branch Management held the 2024 Planning Workshop in Antalya Belek.
Addressing the participants at the workshop, ASKON Konya Branch President Atilla Sinacı stated that they have entered a period in which they will bring big projects to Konya.
Mayor Sinacı said, “Global climate crisis, large variables in supply and demands, disruptions in supply chains, high inputs on the energy side, etc. The negativities experienced are very serious problems of today's economy. In this environment, it is very important to achieve growth on the industry and export side, and we continue our positive course in this field. "No matter what the conditions are, the model based on investment, production and exports is the healthiest and most robust economic model," he said.
PRODUCTION SHOULD BE SUPPORTED
Emphasizing the importance of exports, Mayor Sinacı said, “Investors, producers and exporters should always be supported. The construction of tomorrow depends on these three basic elements. No one can achieve a perfect spring atmosphere despite all the negativities experienced globally. We are talking about serious problems experienced around the world. For this reason, while some sectors will grow, some sectors will periodically shrink. The important thing is that we take steps that will make us stronger from this difficult process by minimizing grievances and developing our strengths. If we want to see a growing and prosperous Türkiye, our homework is clear. These are; "It means more investment, more production and more exports," he said.
WE BRING TECHNOLOGY INVESTMENTS TO KONYA
Providing information about the batteries to be produced with the consortium established under the leadership of ASKON, Sinacı said, “The Battery Facility will be a model investment. It will be of great importance not only for Konya but also for our country. Our R&D processes are currently continuing. Our work continues in İnnopark. Our products will be on the market soon. Another important event of ours is the Çatalhöyük National Agriculture Summit. This year, we will hold the program for the second time with important participants and a full content. We will hold our summit program in 2024, with a very comprehensive and valuable cooperation of many institutions. Hopefully, we will spend the new term full of both projects and events. We will be the leading organization in increasing the production and exports of our city. "I hope that our workshop will be beneficial and that we will have a fruitful year, and I thank everyone," he said.
The workshop ended after the commission chairmen's project presentations and approval of the new term planning.
