Nurten Yontar drew attention to the problems of Malkara OSB in the Turkish Grand National Assembly

CHP Tekirdağ Deputy Nurten Yontar expressed the problems experienced in Malkara OIZ in her speech at the Turkish Grand National Assembly.

Yontar's speech is as follows: “Like all OIZs, Malkara OIZ has been affected by the crisis environment in our country and is faced with many problems. 10 out of 8 businesses are negatively affected by fiscal and financial measures, and 4 out of 3 businesses have difficulty accessing credit. Businesses that invest millions of lira have difficulty finding intermediate staff to employ because technical and vocational high schools that provide qualified education are not encouraged. The solution is to build vocational and technical Anatolian high schools within OIZs, and to inform and encourage families and students about these professions. Another problem of Malkara OIZ is that natural gas is not brought to the OIZ and frequent power outages occur. "A 9-kilometer natural gas line must be laid urgently and TEİAŞ must install the new transformer and power plant in the OIZ."
